I have four college students on one lease with one deposit.  The lease is up and I need to give them back their deposit minus $150.00 for damage.  I was going to write one check to one of the tenants and have him distribute the money to the others.  I got a call from one of the tenants saying that he wants his own check written out to him.  It seems they can't come to an agreement on who is paying for the damage.  I don't know who did the damage and even if I did I don't know if I can do the deciding who gets what back. Does anyone know what I should do.
