Does any know if you must disclose that a prior tenant in a rental unit had AIDS?

That's the tenant's personal information. I would not disclose it.

I agree it is personal information and NOT something that would need to be disclosed to the public/tenant base at large, my concern is upon move out must it be disclosed to a NEW tenant by law?  SC does not even pretend to be landlord friendly - for example, you must disclose if a death/crime occurred in a unit to the new tenant

I do appreciate your response.

Why would you need to disclose the medical condition of a former tenant to the next?  AIDS is not contagious through contact with surfaces.  Unless the last tenant left bodily fluids in the unit (which would mean the tenant nor the LL didn't clean), there should be no need to disclose this and it could be violating the privacy of the last tenant.
