Once again, sorry, I didn't see this post down here. The steps depend on what type of violation the tenant is in default for. If it is for unpaid rent, post the 3 day notice and send a copy to the HA. The start eviction. If it is for some other lease/rule violation, it will be much harder. You will have to prove material breech of the lease in order to evict. (Don't expect any help from the HA.) Document continued violations and serve a notice to the tenant that they are in violation of their lease. You need to give them a timeline to cure the violation (30 days). Notify the HA of their breech, they may send them a letter. I could be of more help if I knew what kind of violation they were committing.
