Can anyone help with insurance advice for a multi family in Connecticut, all the rates i have been quoted are extremely high compared to my current policy.

MY advice is to ask around/other companies, get quotes and ask about the policy and minimum req/to what you feel ok with.

Also I have ran into the finding that in Ohio, insurance companies WON"T cover tenant damage no matter what you pay for in the policy.. It's a lousy scam  there are way less ods of a tornado or lightining damage or dig this terrorist damage than there is dead beat tenant damage in columbus, ohio.

Anyhow just read and ask lots of questions, if any company makes you not feel comfy go to another.
