I had such a hard time last year filling vacancies.  Now with spring here, I'm getting sooo many calls on vacancies, many people showing up all at once, and several apps from one showing!  And lots of qualified applicants, too!

Am I just having a run of good luck with my vacancies, or are things picking up for the rest of you too?  I know here in MN it's easier to rent places this time of year and in the summer than in the winter, but this is unprecendented!

I put a sign in the yard of my house on Saturday.  No advertising yet, no posters or flyers, nothing.  Haven't even got it on the website yet.  But I've gotten 3 calls in 3 days with no effort at all.

Excellent!!!  :-)

I hope things are turning around for our business now!  Yeah, I didn't even get a chance to have the sign put in the yard, just had one day on Craigslist, and one showing and boom!  Rented!  To a person w/a credit score of 800!  WOO!!!!  Hope this trend continues, because this is so awesome.

According to the National Realestate pulse takers. Apartment Rents Rise as Sector Stabilizes. This article gives a interesting view point on this topic. Also be aware that
at the end of 2010 and 2011 there is predicted to be another influx of foreclosures as Adjustable loans will reset. Some with balloon payments due. We aren't ready to pull out of the woods quite yet. Still have a few snafu's up ahead on the finance road. .
