Signed lease (FL) started on the first of the month and tenant accepted the house and received the key. It was found on the 5th that lights were not working in one of the sleeping rooms. This was fixed on the 7th. Tenant claims that lease should start on the 7th.
Are there legal grounds that can support this?

The lease starts when the contract is signed, keys are given, and it's the date specified on the lease. If the signed lease starts on the 1st, then that's that. No minor malfunction overrides that fact.

There are no legal ground to support it because the legal date of the lease is the date speculated on the contract.
