I am looking into starting a property management company in Des Moines IA. I own a couple rentals but others have asked me to manage theirs for them. What type of licensing would I need to do this? I want to start a up website, take payments, screen tenants, the whole works! thanks TC

As to what you need it depends on the state laws. Some states require a property management license to open a property management company. you can find the information usually at the states real estate commission website. the rest you can get by having your site hosted and there are many different companies out there that do this.

Property management companies should focus on developing their employees into great teams. They should set high expectations with their employees and demand accountability. They should strive to hire people smarter than themselves and always provide a great working environment. The resident experience as it relates to maintenance requests and customer service is such an important factor in resident retention. In the long run, keeping residents happy saves you lots of money.

Now a days many property management companies do best work for property buyers. Most important in this post, these
property managers should be ready willing and able to act to the benefit of the property owner to resolve any issues without the client having to guide their actions or in one case demand specific actions be taken! I read your post find more interesting information. Thanking You Yantra Homes
