So I just mailed my first "pay or quit" notice. I also talked to my lawyer this morning about the easement issue I posted about earlier (different section of the forums). When I told him I'd not gotten their rent for November, he told me to send off that notice and to tell them I'd be reporting their late payments to credit agencies. All very well and good, but how do I notify those agencies about a late payment? I looked at the web site for one and could only find links for debt collection. I'm pretty sure the tenants are going to pay their rent so until that 10th day goes by without rent, I don't want to start a debt collection proceeding. Does anyone know how to report ONLY late payments to credit agencies?
