Hello all, this is my first post to the forum. I've tried searching but have come up empty-handed.

Currently I live in VA and will be moving to FL (military orders). I found a house for rent and have submitted a rental application (that was approved). Now, I need to send a security deposit. The owner lives in New York...

What's the most secure method (for her and me) to send a security deposit? She provided her bank information and address in order for me to do a wire transfer. I'm not too keen on this... I thought about mailing a post-dated check, but this puts her in a tough situation.

Some advice would be much appreciated.
