I have made consultations with 3-4 attorneys, and I'm getting all sorts of varying answers.

Scenario 1: 2 ADUs built first. Tenants have to move out, I have to pay for it. Then the work gets done. Then they get to move back in. Seems like a lot of extra time and money spent this way, when I'll just try to buy them out later.

Scenario 2: I initiate buyouts. Let's pretend they all bite. I submit plans to the city to build 2 ADUs and they potentially reject them due to the building's buyout history. SF is nuts.

Any thoughts?
