I am about to put my rental property on the market.  My question, does the buyer/new owner have to honor my existing tenants lease?  My property is in the state of Missouri.

I believe it is an issue of disclosure.  Obviously it must be disclosed to the buyer that you have an active lease attached to the property.  The fact you are selling the property does not relieve you of your obligations to carry through with the lease terms.  Check with the laws of your state or a local realtor/broker/attorney.

You can advertise as investment property, as it may be more appealing to a buyer that you already have tenants placed!
