I have recently become a landlord and obtained 12 units; I used and as a method of screening it was great, however I wanted to know if that's just because I found a really good tenant or if this is something I should use long term.  They give me real time spending habits of the people looking to rent and after running 4 people through on my first unit it worked very well.

My question is what's the downside of using real time spending (through bank accounts/cc/etc) as a method of selecting people.  Has anyone used this company (I think out of IL or IN) for more than 1 unit, what's your vacancy/late payment rates?

I'm new to this and have heard horror stories and this looks like a good long-term solution, I just don't want to find out I am missing something.

Thanks in advance
