Looking for recommendations for collections agencies.   Have you used one?  What was the outcome?  good or bad experience?

Thanks for detailed responses.

Hello,

My name is Michael Thornton I am president of Dorsey Thornton and Associates, a collections agency. We represent several property management companies in Ga and Al. I am confident we can help you with your collection issues. We collect on everyone in all states. drop me a line at michael@dorseythornton.com. I can shoot you over a proposal. Our rates are the best in the industry and there is never an up-front fee. If we don't collect you don't pay.

A friend of mine, a landlord, used a collection agency one but was not too happy with it. It was very expensive and the outcome was suboptimal. But I'm sure it depends on the agency and the circumstances if such an agreement works well or not.
